Girls’ rugby thrives in Colchester
I’ll bet you didn’t know Colchester High School had a girls’ rugby team. I didn’t either until I attended a Colchester vs. Essex tussle at Fort Ethan Allen last week. The final score eludes me but I’m not really sure that even matters. I have seen literally thousands of high school sporting events of all shapes and sizes and I had never seen anything quite like what I saw last week. The physical nature of the game and the way both teams were playing was something to behold.
